Teaser Tuesday #TuesdayBookBlog

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

My current read is Sheer Fear, a thriller by Geoffrey David West, which is the third of his Jack Lockwood mysteries.  Jack is constantly finding himself in dangerous situations:-

I used the high power torch to examine the gravestones and it began to rain, a firm steady drizzle, and the minimal moonlight had disappeared.

I’d removed the top layer of one half of the grave when I felt a hand on my shoulder, pulling me backwards.  “What the hell do you think you’re doing,” yelled the man I was now facing.
