It’s so many years since I’ve been to Sagres that I’d prefer to forget them but I have very fond memories of the place and of the Pousada there, the first we’d stayed in, so luxurious I thought I’d died and gone to heaven.

I have heard the Pousada is lovely. I enjoy walking among the Spring flowers around the Fortaleza looking out to sea at breakers on the rocks.
